"ROMAN HOLIDAY" CIRCUIT

It is walled up in the wall of the Pronaos of the church Santa Maria in Cosmedin. It is world-famous because, according to the legend, it would have cut the hand of those who lied.
PALAZZO BRANCACCIO
In the movie, we can also perceive Palazzo Brancaccio. This palace was built between 1886 and 1912, by the architect Luca Carimini. Located in the center of Rome, the palace is a hotel with restaurant, as well as a space of conference today. It is worth seeing by the wealth of its decoration.
PALAZZO DELLA GALLERIA COLONNA
In the movie Roman Holidays, Audrey Hepburn gives a press conference in the Palazzo della Galleria Colonna, to say his farewells to Gregory Peck, with whom it desperately fell in love. The various wings of the Palace Colonna were built over five centuries. It explains the various styles of its interior and outside design. Palazzo della Galleria Colonna is a real jewel of the Roman baroque. Opened at present to the public, it is possible to see the decoration of the most representative apartments. You can see the collections of oeuvres of art of the family, among which of the masterpieces of Pinturicchio, Cosmè Tura, Carraches, Guido Reni, Tintoretto, Salvator Rosa, Bronzino, Guerchin, Véronèse, Vanvitelli, among others.
